When we woke up we found that Daddy had decorated the dining room table and

baked a special birthday coffee cake!

We decided to help!

We climbed up in a chair and started putting candles in the birthday coffee cake!

After Daddy straightened out our spelling, he lit the candles.

Then we got to help Mummy make a special wish and blow out the candles!

Mummy got some really nice gifts, and some really Silly gifts...

We each got a kazoo. We learned quickly, and Alex's name is now Alexander KazooBear Martin!

Jeremy sat on a balloon to see what would happen...

(Alex was very happy that nothing happened.)

Then we all went in to town!

We went to the Farmers' Market, had popcorn & lollypops, and saw our pals.

Later we had a picnic lunch in the backyard...

and then we went back downtown to have ice cream at the Paradise!

What a GREAT birthday! But there even better yet to come in the evening...
