² Labor Day Weekend 2003 ²

 Summer may be nearing its end in the Rockies, but Alex & Jeremy's summer of fun continues!

Jeremy was concerned to discover that...

HE HAS NO WAIST!>

the discovery was exhausting>

Waist or no waist, the boys like hanging out together>

The boys' pal Eric stopped by to visit>

And Lynn, Dave, Kai, & Jaymin drove up from Glenwood>

4-Month birthday

August 28th is the boys' 4-month birthday. They celebrated with friends>

Two weeks>

Three months>

Four months>

Nana & Papa Martin and Uncle Todd come to play!

Alex assumes his favorite position: asleep in Papa's arms three generations of trouble    

We celebrated Jack's birthday>

Jeremy decides he is ready to start eating solid foods. Right now!

Jeremy models his "Gene Kelly" outfit Jeremy Todd snoozes in Todd's lap   Jeremy reads the Times over Papa's shoulder Papa is very patient about having his hair pulled  

Jeremy liked being out in the rain with Todd!

One afternoon there was the most incredible rainbow over our house.

      Later that evening Jack & Phyl watched the boys so Katherine, 

      Scott,& Todd could go hear Tom Petty play a concert in town.
 

Sunday morning we went for a nice long stroll down along the banks of the Roaring Fork River>

  

 

The boys went down to Koch Park to watch the Motherload Volleyball Tournament>

They were not impressed. ho hum

We think that just hanging out with the boys is always the best fun of all.

Sunday evening Jack & Phyl watched the boys while we snuck to Snowmass to hear Neil Young & Crazy Horse.

out of the blue, and into the black...

they give you this, but you pay for that.

Alex likes pretending that he is flying First Class>

Jeremy likes sitting up on the couch like a big boy>

Goodbye Todd!

Then it was time for the  boys to say goodbye to their pal Uncle Todd>

The boys can't wait for

him to come back again!

Goodbye Nana & Papa!

And then it was time for Nana & Papa to fly home, which made the boys sad>

But we'll all be together

again next month, which

cheered everyone up!
