² First Birthday! ²

 On April 28th Alex & Jeremy celebrated their first birthday in full Pirate mode!

Katherine stayed up very late baking two pirate birthday cakes>

 

 When Alex & Jeremy came downstairs in the morning, surprises were waiting!

<There were fire trucks to ride,

and new books to read>

Zippy & Susan commented on how much the boys have grown!

It seemed as though Pirates were every-where today! And Karen & Emma sent balloons>
There was a great party at lunch time, with two cakes and lots of friends!

(not to mention home-made quiches

and chicken salad!  Bliss!)

Alex & Jeremy decided that they LOVE pirate cake!

(If you were wondering, pirate cake does wash off>)
