Granny & Grandpa Sand flew in from London to have some summer fun with the boys!

   

The boys love having them here!

Then Scott came home from a trip to  Saratoga Springs for a meeting at Skidmore College, and

we all got to play together!

On Saturdays we love going to the Farmers' Market, then hanging out in the Zélé Café.

Scott likes reading the paper; Alex is not interested. In the evening, the boys love nothing more than watching a little baseball before bedtime>>>

Hike to Cathedral Lake

On a Sunday morning Peter & Scott hiked up to Cathedral Lake in the back country high above the ghost town of Ashcroft.

    Peter & Scott debate whether to go for a swim in the lake. (They decided not to. They're not as dumb as they look.)   

Afternoon at the Music Tent

The boys went to their first concert at the Music Tent. They saw lots of friends and enjoyed the Mendelssohn and Berlioz.

And they had a very nice nap. Nothing could be better.
