Just in time for our first wedding anniversary, Katherine's parents came
to visit us for ten days in Aspen. It was their first trip back to see
us since the wedding, so we had a long list of adventures planned for
them... |

went hiking across the stunning Northstar preserve at the edge of town, in the
box canyon below Independence Pass... |

...and we drove up to
the top of the Pass to visit winter.
On the way back down
to summer,
we stopped at the
windswept
ghost town of
