This afternoon we went to a
birthday party for our little pal Lukee.
We had THE BEST TIME!
There was a clown named
"Buttons". Mummy is afraid of clowns, but not us!
When Buttons tapped our
tummies, her finger beeped. That was silly!
Then Buttons offered to paint
our faces. We're up for anything, so we said: "Okay!"
Jeremy asked for balloons!
(Alex supervised)
After Jeremy got his
balloons, Alex asked to be turned into a small cat.
(Alex's alter-ego is a small
friendly cat named "Snowflake", a name of his own choosing.)
When Buttons was finished
Alex looked in a mirror.
He liked the results!
Mummy asked to have a cuddle
with Snowflake...
Mummy had to leave the party
to go to a Very Important Meeting with a Very Famous
British Stage Impresario who
is town for the Comedy Festival. But we were not ready
to leave Lukee's party. So we
stayed on with Daddy. And a good thing we did -- because
there were hot dogs and
macaroni & cheese for dinner (served with Thomas the Engine
plates & napkins)!!
Then there was Cake and
singing of "Happy Birthday to Lukee!". Finally it was time
to go home. We couldn't wait
to tell Mummy everything that happened after she left,
and to show our Balloon Boy
and Cat Boy faces to our pal Mathew!
Hooray for birthdays!!
