² Adventure Boys of Park La Brea  ²

February 11, 2006

There are lots of great things to do in Los Angeles. But sometimes we're happy

just to stay at home in Park La Brea. There are so many adventures to be had here!

Tonight before dinner we headed over to the Smoothie Park (that's what we call the

park with the big fountain, because they make nice smoothies in the park's cafe).

We did lots of silly running around...

Plumber Alex worked his trade...

Mummy got us cookies from the cafe. And Jeremy helped Daddy drink his smoothie...

You might think that cookies and a smoothie right before dinner would spoil our appetites.

We think that was actually Mummy & Daddy's plan, in a desparate attempt to save money

on groceries. Their Evil Plan failed. When we got home from the park we ate an

ENORMOUS dinner. We're having a growth spurt, and there is no stopping our eating.

(Twice this week, immediately after lunch Alex asked: "What's for lunch?")

Meanwhile, back at the fountain, Alex resumed his plumbing work...

Alex thought it was Very Silly to get so wet!

On the way back to the house for dinner, we stopped in the Bones Park across the

street for a final romp of the day in the fading light. We kept pointing out the

almost-full moon (and Mummy & Daddy kept pointing out that the first thing

Jeremy ever said was "Look, I see Moon" as we headed for the airport from

Park La Brea before dawn one morning last spring).

Monkey Boys of Park La Brea showed off their tricks.

(Curious George could learn a thing or two from Alex & Jeremy.)

And then we raced over to walk on the dinosaur bones before heading in for dinner...
