What a weekend we had!
One afternoon we headed down
to Paepke Park to visit our friends the Clydesdale horses.
(We met them for the first
time on Friday when our pre-school went to visit them.)

So the Clydesdales don't get
lonely when they travel, they have a special pal who travels
with them (sort of like their
own personal Yankee Bear).
His name is Nicholas the
Donkey. We got to pet him!

We strolled through town, and
met up with the Clydesdales again across from
the Paradise Bakery!

Jeremy was Very Happy to see
his pal Nicholas the Donkey again!

Then we went for Hot
Chocolates at a cafe! YUMMY!

But the fun wasn't over yet!
We climbed up the stairs of the Gondola Plaza, then
hiked up the steep hill above
the Gondola station. As part of the X-Games which
are being held in town this
weekend there is a big outdoor concert this evening.

On the side of the hill there
was a HUGE ski jump and on top of the jump a band was
playing. Jeremy danced to the
music while Brave Boys flew down the hill on their skis
and then flew up the wall
into the air!

We really liked that!
Long after the sun had set we
hiked back down the steep hill.

A HUGE crowd was gathering in
the falling snow to listen to the music and to watch
the Brave Boys dancing with
their skis on the steep wall.
There was a fleet of
snowmobiles taking the Brave Boys back up to the top of the hill.
A very nice ski patrol lady
noticed Alex eying her big black snowmobile. She asked him
if he would like to sit with
her on the snowmobile. That made Alex VERY HAPPY!
